Tracker found in the car

Recently, we discovered a Chinese TKStar tracker. It seems the original magnets were worn out, so an extra neodymium magnet was taped on.

The device was attached on top of the exhaust pipe — between the resonator and the main muffler. The tape and the tracker’s casing are still relatively clean, which suggests it may have been installed not long ago, although this spot doesn’t usually get very dirty anyway.

The car was bought 1.5 months ago on the second-hand market — either from a friend or through acquaintances. The seller insists he didn’t install the tracker.
