While inspecting the client’s car for bugs and trackers, our specialists found an unknown tracking tag placed in a zip bag behind the wheel arch.
Interestingly, the car owner had received several iPhone alerts about an “unknown tracker detected nearby,” but since she also had her own AirTags, she didn’t pay much attention to it.
During the inspection, our specialists detected an Apple AirTag using a software locator. The driver was immediately informed about the finding.
Everything followed the usual pattern – a “classic set” for an audio surveillance device: a microphone, power adapter, GSM relay for remote control, 4G modem, and a digitizing unit. The device was connected to the vehicle’s standard wiring, meaning it could operate almost without any time limitations.
