This time, our specialists found a radio transmitter with a microphone and a video camera hidden inside a voice alarm system. Such alarms are normally installed in office buildings to inform staff in case of emergencies.
The bugging device was placed in a meeting room where top management discusses commercial matters, including tender conditions. The client suspects it might have been planted by competitors, as they had lost several tenders to them with only a small difference in price.
During the inspection, our specialists detected an Apple AirTag using a software locator. The driver was immediately informed about the finding.
Everything followed the usual pattern – a “classic set” for an audio surveillance device: a microphone, power adapter, GSM relay for remote control, 4G modem, and a digitizing unit. The device was connected to the vehicle’s standard wiring, meaning it could operate almost without any time limitations.
