The other day we inspected a client’s office. During the inspection, a hidden video surveillance device was found, integrated into the suspended ceiling above the manager’s desk. The location of the device allowed us to “see” what was happening at his desk, including the image of his work computer. According to the client’s own preliminary assumptions, the “bug” could have been installed with the aim of finding some compromising information about his business.
During the inspection, our specialists detected an Apple AirTag using a software locator. The driver was immediately informed about the finding.
Everything followed the usual pattern – a “classic set” for an audio surveillance device: a microphone, power adapter, GSM relay for remote control, 4G modem, and a digitizing unit. The device was connected to the vehicle’s standard wiring, meaning it could operate almost without any time limitations.
